A recent hotfix has changed the item level of gear after you use Ascended Venomstones on it. layers can use 10 Ascendant Venomstone on certain pieces of gear to increase its item level.
Earlier in the week, a crafted piece of gear gained 7 item levels to 338, while a non-crafted piece of gear gained 6 item levels to 340.
This has just been hotfixed and the amount of item levels a piece gains has changed.
Crafted Piece gains 6 item levels to Item level 337.
Non-Crafted piece gains 7 item levels to Item Level 341.
